Learning Greek: Easy Greek

One of my favorite resources for learning is YouTube. Everything is on YouTube. Now, one of my reasons for learning Modern Greek is to understand how real people speak it, what they sound like, what if any modern slang they use, etc. In the end, my main reason for learning Modern Greek is so that I can read what the Greeks have to say about themselves, and also so I can speak the language if I ever find myself in Greece.

One of my favorite resources is the YouTube channel Easy Greek. They produce Greek language content that is fun for someone like myself to watch and see Modern Greek in action with English subtitles.

One question I have and I’m always looking for more information on, is how much Ancient Greek does a modern Greek know about Ancient Greek? The following episode of Easy Greek covers that topic and I enjoyed it very much.
